Peter Nelson is a dually licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals move toward healing and personal growth. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling and Health Psychology from William James College and is licensed to practice in both New Hampshire and Maine.
Peter takes a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy, integrating a variety of evidence-based treatment methods tailored to each client’s individual goals and needs. He believes lasting change is built through genuine connection, collaborative work, and deep respect for every person’s unique story and lived experience.
